'Mai Ngā Karu O Te Ora' Online

MAI NGĀ KARU O TE ORA is a suicide prevention and post-intervention kaupapa offering a weekly online support forum via Zoom, to tautoko (support and encourage) and awhi (care and embrace) whānau, hapū and New Zealand communities struggling with their experiences of suicide risk and/or suicide.

MAI NGĀ KARU O TE ORA - "From the eyes of wellbeing, we encourage our people to live, life."

Mai Ngā Karu o te Ora is a suicide prevention and post-intervention kaupapa that provides weekly online support, every Thursday, for Māori whānau, hapū and New Zealand communities that are experiencing suicide risk, and or are bereaved by suicide.

The weekly online Zoom forum aims to:

  • Encourage a focus on well-being and building resilience.
  • Build inclusive Māori and New Zealand Communities to strengthen and cultivate resilience.
  • Raise awareness about available supports and resources for whānau and communities.
  • Increase awhi and manaakitanga to whānau known to be at a higher risk of suicidal distress.

Naumai Haere Mai;

We welcome you into this safe and supporting kaupapa.
